Mystic Hills #11 |
How many of the Pete Dye Golf Trail courses have you played? We recently heard from a group from Chicago who completed 6 of the 7 golf course over a 4 day trip. They started with Mystic Hills on the first day, a 2.5 hour drive from Chicago. Map
From there it was a morning drive down Route 31 on to Indianapolis and a morning tee time at Plum Creek Golf and Country Club.
After a great round of golf and lunch, They were off to the afternoon round at The Fort at Fort Benjamin Harrison State Park.
The next morning found them just minutes down the road at Maple Creek Golf and Country Club, the Dye's first 18 hole design.
For the afternoon of day 3, they drove across town to play the Brickyard Crossing Golf Course. This automatically includes a visit to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Check out the track alongside the 13th green. After a well deserved rest they started back home to Chicago, but not without a stop in West Lafayette, Indiana and one last round at the Kampen Course.
